Now playing Theatrythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call. Awesome rhythm game and here I forgot I haven't recently played a rhythm game except Harmoknight I believe although just the demo but from the demo it was something I would invest in.

I'm a Final Fantasy nut so of course I'd get this and so far luv it. Ultimate is something else x_X.

Xenogears: I've finally reached Disc 2, and... Everything is even worse than I've feared. It seems most interesting story points were saved for later, and with dev team running out of money, all those build-ups were wasted and story turned into one huge tease (with occasional run through a short location and\or boss fight). "Oh, look, here is the fight that you've waited for so long, now read a bunch of text, push some buttons... that's it, onto the next plot point! Cutscene! Text! Bring out the rocking chair! More text! Slap a picture on the background, so it won't seem so barren!". Just...wow. Disc 1 took me almost 50 hours to clear. Disc 2... I'm sure it'll take me 3-4 more hours minimum. Maybe I'll even finish it today.

Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited: At long last, Land of Carnage. Getting all the ship parts was easier than I've expected. Also I've discovered that I'm not qualified for 30+ LoC Item World floors yet, so I once again must turn back to grinding and preparing equipment. Now, where to find that legendary Yoshitsuna...

    deadly premonition.

May have ballsed up the game by doing chapter select and reseting some quests. I hear you can't get the items for quests again if you have already done them. May have to come back to this game.

I started playing that after finishing the first one. I liked it, but it wasn't different enough and I never got very far. Does differentiate itself if you stick with it longer?

I'm currently juggling Grim Fandango Remastered (takes awhile because I'm trying not to cheat! ) and Freedom Planet, with intentions of starting Valkyria Chronicles soon.

1000 year door is a lot different than 64 but some of the core elements such as partner management in the overworld and battle remain.

Here's some key features of 1000 year door that 64 dont got:

Battle gameplay is completely different although the simple commands remain the core is alot more active now.

For example now there are more ways to recharge star energy now with both Mario and Partner without need of Badges.

Stylish a new feature has you learn more about the timing of everything you do where during a move you can pose to the audience and earn more energy.

Speakin of which there's an audience now and they play the role of star energy providers although occasionally one bad member will attempt to attack you at random to which you can whack before this occurs.

Star moves are all also active where now you actually have to earn what each move provides.

For instance actively participating in Earth Tremor will result in more significant damage to the enemies.

Enemies are slightly more active now being able to use items on Mario/Partner.

Changing order now puts your partner at risk of attack as now all partners have HP.

    Partners can now use items.

Your now able to steal items and even badges from enemies.

Badges have two effects either they'll affect Mario or your Partner depending on the name.

This games uses the Cube's Real Time Clock.

    This game has Rumble.

Inn's now cost coins. A coupon is available.

    Heart Blocks cost coins.

Badges can have more of a direct effect on enemies such as the 1st boss.

You can use items on a Partner.

This game lets you play Bowser temporarily.

More than one of the same Badge exists to allow stacking.

If overleveled you will still earn a Star Point from weak enemies.

This game has an optional super boss.

This game has an optional endurance type dungeon ala Savage Labyrinth from Zelda to describe it.

This game has an optional partner.

This game has alternate palettes for one partner.

Shops give points when you buy items. These points earn you items at certain intervals of points.

This game has new ways for Mario to travel on the overworld.

Partner upgrades require Shine Sprites hidden throughout and require 3 each upgrade.

Theres a badge to change Mario's appearance to for example Luigi.

The background in Battle can fall apart and hurt Mario and enemies. The top screen also has hidden objects that will randomly fall hurting Mario or enemies. These can cause status ailments.

    Status ailments now affect Partners.

There are items that can hinder enemies stats.

There are items to add stats for Mario & Partner.

I think thats enough info the point there's ALOT more.

I'm currently playing Secret Agent Clank via ppsspp. I would be playing the PS2 version, but ran into sound issues trying to emulate it that can't seem to be resolved.

I've been playing League of Legends mostly. I really want to play a serious single player game, but I don't have any right now that I haven't already beaten/played a little and decided I didn't like them.

I have started Wind Waker HD. I am hoping to get more gaming time in soon as I am only managing a couple of hours per week. I am also in the middle of Final Fantasy Type 0 HD.
