1st time through? I always race ASAP to the Shulva repair tree [unlimited free repairs!] to keep Soul Memory low. The other DLC can wait a bit since it's coldshithard.
Just started PS4 version of DS2, & halfwayish through DS3.

Samurai Warriors 4 ii on pc. Wonderful port. Runs just about full tilt on my little core2. Still not really different from any other Warriors games but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's just a hack n slash anyways.

I love Deus Ex, HR DC is pretty badass.

That was one of the most recent games I have beaten that had me hooked and playing nonstop.

Currently I am playing Ni No Kuni.
