I just hope it doesn't have any goddamn stingrays. I learned to deal with the beam phantoms effectively after a few tries, but the outdoor parts of 4-2 were like a fucking Steve Irwin simulator.

It was one of the nastiest areas, yet it was one of the best locations for farming souls.

I gained like twenty soul levels in that stage!
It didn't help like I thought it would. And I wasted like 10 on strength so I could use that damn meat cleaver, and failed to realize that it scales to FAITH not magic. So I'm still using a spear.

At least I can afford to buy healing stuff in bulk now.
Also, ironically, the boss of 4-2 was the second easiest one I've fought yet. The game apologized for the stingrays by having me fight a blind dude.

    Demons souls

Yeah 4-2 is a good spot to grind. Use a bow take out that first reaper dude and run back and jump off the cliff. Repeat.

Alternating between fallout 3 and RE5 myself mostly right now.

Alternating between Wild ARMs (PSN copy on PSP), Fire Emblem Awakening(3DS) and The Witcher: EE on PC. Just got FE:A for Christmas with a 2DS to play it on, so I've been happy.

Shin Megami Tensei IV, where I've spent about 8 hours fusing demons so far.

    I think I have a problem...

Started a run on Bioshock on Survivor mode with No vita chambers. Must say by taking a precautious approach it isn't that hard, and I'm guessing it'll get easier once I get a hold of the Camera.

It does. The first daddy or two is a huge pain in the ass, but once you get past that bit you're pretty much good. With all the upgrade shops, passive abilities, and good plasmids lying about you can find yourself decently powerful before long. Largely a good idea to stick to health/eve upgrades, passives, and the one or two plasmids you really use a lot.

Also, really suggest going the good route as some of the plasmids you get from saving the sisters really really come in handy on survivor. At the very least go neutral if you need some extra adam at the start.

Hypnotise Big daddy is a godsend

I've got 3 Plasmid slots and I think that's all I'll need. It'll be health/eve upgrades otherwise and all passive abilites. I can see myself relying on the Wrench a lot

    Seriously. It wasn't that bad.
5-1 was the easiest stage in the game, and the boss only took two tries (fell off the platform while sniping him the first time ), 5-2 was more tedious than difficult. After getting killed twice I realized to just avoid the big trolls, so the only problem was getting lost in that damn swamp while poisoned. The boss was one of the few I killed on the first try--just spammed magic at him from the door while chomping down grass.
And then Vinland was easy to melee, because the idiot telegraphed his attacks and kept inviting me to stab him in the head.
    I obliged.

    Just 1-3 and 1-4 left.
