Fastest Game Over
What Game do you think has the fastest "Game Over" Were talking from getting control to losing control so multi life games wouldn't work well. Also No Rom Hacks (SM Frustration for instance)
My Fastest is "Backtrack" for Gameboy Advance
My timing is 0.70 Seconds and all I did was hold down at the start of the game
(I Made this video with my PSP as my other half was playing the DSLite)

well TONS of games gameover way too fast. how about Space Harrier, you can get hit repeatedly at one rock and lose all of your 2 lives! GAME OVER!
let's not forget Dragon's Lair for the NES. hell even the SNES version is difficult. die twice and the whole game ends, on that note Contra's pretty rough too... damn old games and their extreme difficulty
i'm playing Star Ocean 3 right now, you can gameover pretty quickly. especially on the stupid machine gun enemies, basically you keep getting blasted and can't move, so just sit back and watch you die in about 30 secs. lol.

I'm gonna go with either Battletoads on nes, or Super R-Type on snes.

The fastest death I ever had was while attempting I Wanna be the Guy. I quickly gave up. Same for Super Meat Boy but at least it's fun!

can't find a video of it. But star evil, the second game of the action 52 multigame cart for the nes, you have to immediatly dodge out of the way as there is a object directly in your path that will kill you instantly

Ok, so you go to an all-out fight against the true final boss with ALL OF YOUR characthers, each by each taking a part of the boss and then you go on an all-out battle of the main characther against the boss's final component...
and then you die in SECONDSand if you fail there you have do it ALL THE PREVIOUS BOSS BATTLES ALL OVER AGAIN
...
It was genuinely annoying, at least zone of the enders 2 didn't forced you to do that
