    Default just beginning with emulation

i'm brand new to emulation. finally decided to try it out but i have no clue where to start. i've started with Sega CD, i know it's not one of the popular choices but i've had some fun times with sega cd when i was a kid.

i've downloaded a few ISO's already and the emulator "kega fusion 3.64". I thought it was a simple way of playing but i'm probably complicating the matter by not doing something correctly because i've tried 2 games and nothing works.

    Here is what i have:
    Running MS Windows XP
    video/sound cards are upgrades
    kega fusion 3.64
who shot johnny rock? (sega CD iso) (downloaded from this site, and extracted with winrar to a BIN File & CUE file)

Can someone walk me through how to begin playing these games?

    thank you very much

download the sega CD BIOS from here and extract it anywhere (diffrent region games require different region bios, you can set up multiple BIOS if you have games from different regions) > open fusion > option > set config > sega CD > browse for the file you just extracted (make sure you select the right bios for the region) > OK > file > load sega CD image > select the CUE file of the game you want to play > have fun!

NOTE: some games have audio tracks separate, you can still play them but the audio might not work.

download SegaCueMaker and extract it some where.
Now convert all audio files (.MP3 .WMA etc) to .WAV, to do this easily download audacity 1.3 extract it > open audacity > file > edit chains > add > name it anything > insert > double click 'ExportWav' > OK > file > apply chain > select the chain you just made > apply to files > select all audio files from the game > wait... > wait... > wait... > open the directory of the audio file and game > delete .CUE and .MP3 (or other audio format) > move contents of 'cleaned' folder to main folder (delete cleaned) > open SegaCueMaker and select the file of the audio file and game (double click) > save CUE (name it anything) > DONE!

    .

If they are seperate tracks for audio you would have to rename them starting with the first as the same as the gamefilename iso but starting with the first audio as track02 as it will recognize the bin as track 01. then it will play the audio...

    Soniccd.iso/bin

    soniccd 02.mp3 (track 1)
    soniccd 03.mp3 (track 2)

    etc. etc.

mp3's will work with gens but since you're using kega you will have to convert to .wav I believe.

The nes and snes emulators are all in one you don't need to download anything else (except the games of course)

    If I remember correctly
