Did you use no$gba, if yes, which version was it?
Try changing the NDS Cartridge Backup Media to 'Auto' if you use 2.6a version.

To unzip it, right click the zipped file and then select extract all. If you need something of higher caliber to extract it fetch 7-zip. You shouldn't really have to worry about extracting the files though. They should work as is if my memory serves.

If NO$GBA isn't working with the game, give DeSmuME a shot. Chances are it may not be compatible with NO$GBA, although I've got no idea which game you describe as being the problem child let alone if NO$GBA actually has problems running/loading the game. Don't expect perfection from DeSmuME though in terms of playing games, even though it looks to be getting closer.

oh ya i think i should recommend u to one emulator as the one i am using is known as windspro as it contain many 4 ds emulator in one and also include a gba emulator ... and u can change the theme to the emulator and the no$gba has come with prepacked action code replay and they also has a build in extractor..

this one is translated from spanish to english so unloading is basically downloads.. poor translation but u can understand it easily ....

I sometimes use DeSmuME and it works well with most ds files. I suggest that you unzip the files but that's my preference.
you can find the emulator at desmume .org
    good luck ...
