I'm so psyched to see Barcelona to win UEFA Champions League and the Spanish Primera Liga. I can picture Pep Guardiola shoving the trophies on Jose Mourinho's face and say "Haha!".

My wai-fu, among many other wai-fu, and they are my current favorite. What? Too nerdy? Well, I think it is.

I actually can see the opposite happening for some reason.

    Erm, yeah, his face.

ALSO OH MY SWEET ASS IT'S JENS FREAKING MAD DOG AND WE'RE TOTALLY GONNA WIN THE PL AGAIN LIKE IN '04 AHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Right? Too bad about not having any centre backs though. I suspect we'll loan in Pascal Cygan from the spanish second division.

    Michael Ballack, he scores free-kicks.
He's got black hair, and he's german.

I suppose Aston Villa won't mind if Pirés wants to leave.

Nothing like having twenty games left in the season, and the Oilers are officially out of any possible running for the playoffs. Even if they win every single game from here on out, they can't make it in.
    Fuck my life.

Awesome! Think we can bring in Paddy from city aswell?

You know the saying, success begins, err, in the 03-04 season.

Hmm, there are rumors that West Ham are up for grabs and an Indian business tycoon is interested on buying it....

So. Edmonton Oilers, you were out of any chance to get in the playoffs about four months ago... you are dead last in the league for the second year in a row...
... but in two back to back games, you beat the Vancouver Canucks, the first placed team in the league. Once in their arena, and once in yours.

... this is the happiest I've been all season.

Congrats, Cookies. Adebayor always used to do well against Spurs.

Seeing Drags being happy over so little gives me hope. Of United getting disqualified. For making use of 8 different Da Silvas this season.

Sometimes, when you are an Oilers fan, you gotta take the little things that they give you... doesn't help that we've lost 258 man games to injuries this season, either, or had to call up a shitload of our roster from the WHL to replace some of those guys. Once Khabibulin retires -- hopefully after next year, when his contract expires -- and we get Dubnyk into the net full time, things will start to turn around a little bit. Khabibulin is running on fumes at the moment and hasn't had a great game all season, where as Dubnyk has been on fire. Then, we can hopefully get our first round draft pick again next year and hopefully get a strong player to flesh out our offense a little bit. Once we get Whitney, Gagner, Horcoff, Hall and Hemsky back in the line-up from their season-ending injuries, and hopefully keep them in there next year without jumping on their hand with a skate and cutting it so bad that you can't play for the rest of the season... then we might have a shot.

I'm praying for 8th place seed in the Western Conference next year. I'll be happy with that, even if we go out in the first round.

Gratz, Cookie. I watched the game and even without the red card it would have been a massacre. Terrific performance all round. I've watched more Barca than Real since players like Zidane and Ronaldo left the club and Messi et all came to prominence at Barca (I know, I know, I'm a traitor ;__; ), but the current Real team is playing some seriously good stuff. And half of them are still kids to boot! Guys like Higuain, Ozil, Khedira, and di Maria are playing like superstars already and haven't even started to hit the best years of their careers yet, so they've got the core of a quality team for years to come there. Might have to start watching Real every week again.

Even though Inter was a disaster, the screamer by Dejan Stankovic was awesome. Granted, all he did was just hit a volley, but his shot and his precision to send it in an almost straight line was terrific.
That said, I'm really happy Raul is doing great in Schalke, I always had a sweet spot for him and he's one of the few remaining players of the past.

I'm anxious to see how stuff will turn out against Chelsea, while they have fallen behind in the table, I'm certain they will use all their weaponry even in the first match, it's gonna be an interesting match.

Thanks both, it was just a battle, war isn't over, but it's a good start

7 goals in 11 matches or something, I read. If it were up to me I'd sign him this summer, and I know it would mean no Llorente/Kun but he seems to be happy here and compromised with the team.
