Unfortunately thats not it, there were no buildings in the background, just the signs on the sides of the road. And I believe it was made in the 80's. Thanks though for the response!

Have you skimmed over GameFAQs NES F1 list? It's short, but there were several Pole Position clones:

*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Thanks a lot for that link. The only one in that list that triggers my memory is F1 Race, I guess that is it, unfortunately its just been so long. But did that game get released in the US? I'm trying to find a pic of the cartridge itself cause i know it had a teal-ish turquoise-ish label on it.

Just a shot in the dark but, Suikoden 4?

"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

    Hello everyone!
I remember I've played a game not too many years ago . I think it was 2007+ because it had really good graphics, a bit too much for my PC at that time. It was a strategy game where you would choose a character -Lord or Lady - and then you could play as a Lord of influence in a developing city, build houses, farms, upgrade buildings, attend political meetings, buy your way through towards leadership, even have a personal life of flirting, falling in love, getting married and have children.
Dunno why but I remember it was called Anno something. I checked the Anno series but they are not it
    Any hint would be appreciated.
    Thanx !

The game I'm thinking of was an old PC game where you played as a tank, the display was entirely composed of green wireframe (vector?) graphics against a black background, and the point was to destroy the other thanks on the map. Does this ring a bell?

I do believe that one is Battlezone. Not to be confused with the Battlezone series, which are FPS RTS games.
