I've never seen this file extension either
It wouldn't just be a .7z file that's been renamed would it?

So I have a four year old 750w Thermaltake PSU that I have used in my computer for the past few years, using nowhere near the theoretical limit of the PSU, I'm considering building a new computer but what to wonder should I get a new one, I'm tempted to just re-use the old because I'm hoping that if it fails it just stops working and doesn't short the mobo, what would you guys suggest however, get new one or use old, I'm thinking of holding onto the old since I doubt it will short and break the mobo.

I would use it. You're worrying too much.

That's what I planning on doing anyway, the consensus from people I asked is the same.

I wouldn't worry about it, Thermaltake stuff is usually really good quality and if it's lasted this long you'll be fine. I'm using an old Corsair power supply with no problems.

Thermaltake being good quality was exactly the reason I bought that brand in the first instance.

I also plan on re-using the CD/DVD RW drive because I never ever use it.

One of the fans on my 560GTX has been getting blocked by the SATA_0 port/cable for a few days now. Was making some strange vibrating noise, thought it was a wire vibrating on the metal of the case. So I finally went to take a look at it tonight and what do I see? My poor 560GTX's second fan isn't able to spin because of the SATA cable being wedged in the blades. Glad I've not played any PC games on it as of yet, so shouldn't have done any damage.

I seem to recall a certain person refusing to organize his cables.

Was nothing wrong with the organisation of my cables. It was more the fact when I had a SATA lead plugged into 0 it basically sits in the 560GTX's fan
