In the data folder. Rename them to Dc_Boot.

Unzip or unrar the bios files to the data folder.

You should have 2 files, one named dc_boot.bin and the other dc_flash.bin

We have the BIOS files available here:

For your second question, read this:

For your second question, use xpadder http://www.xpadder.com/ and follow this guide to set your controller up: http://www.1emulation.com/forums/ind...howtopic=21675

For the vmu problem, open the emulator, click normal boot, cancel, yes (when it asks if you want to boot without gdrom). You should be at the Dreamcast boot screen, where it gives you the vmu and play game options. Select the VMU, and if it's blank, click delete all to format it. Now the emulator should be able to read your vmu and save games to it.

Sorry about answering them in reverse order.

Just to make sure I'm understanding you correctly, your screen looks like this
right? If so, select the vmu, and click delete all (memory reset). Click ok if it asks if you're sure you want to delete everything. Only do so, however, if the vmu has no data on it. Because, obviously, if you delete the data from that save you downloaded, you'll have to redownload the file.

After clicking file, normal boot, cancel, yes? Because immediately after that, the screen should look like this (after the dreamcast logo disappears and you've set the time):

Another thing, do you have an input similar to the one shown here:

Notice that I have a vmu selected under the input plugin (the option that is circled). Do you have that selected?

So, have you formatted the vmu now? If not, that's the next step to make the emulator be able to save to the vmu.

all right i found how to do this, thanks

Just rename your data_port files to vms.bin edit them and rename them back!

you should create 2 one called

    vmu_data_port01.bin 1

then with the vmu save with chankast, just change that file name to vmu_data_port01.bin and it should work.

now what about my controller plugin?
    ---
nevermind. i see if it works, and tell u if it does.

Have you downloaded xpadder and followed the tutorial I linked about how to configure it? That tutorial explains how to set up your gamepad with xpadder and use it with nulldc. It's the guide I followed to set up my controller, so I know the info works.

    Good luck.
