Hee.
The trouble is that I have an IDE DVD-ROM too. ^_~ It sucks. I'm happy to buy some nice new memory, and a much better processor, graphics card, and motherboard, but I don't really need any more space than the 400GB or so that I have now. Nor do I find the access times on my drives even remotely slow... So I would've been quite happy just to stick with my existing harddisks.
And my DVD burner is still in perfectly good nick, and runs fast enough for my tastes. Bleh. It's kind of crappy, as it's dawned on me that I'll probably be able to salvage pretty much nothing out of this PC.
...
Okay, less 'pretty much' and more just plain old 'nothing'.
My RAM is too old, my graphics card is too
crap, my harddisks are all IDE so I can use maybe one or two at most, my PSU probably isn't enough for newer components... I guess there's my...floppy disc drive? Saving myself three pounds! XD
