    (A. Plugins>input settings to configure the controls. And I'd get the darkman's plugin (version 4.0) as it was made especially for fps games. (but I use it for everything cause it's smooth and easy to configure)

    (B. It is not possible (as far as I know) to play Roms on cartridge consoles
    (N64, NES, SNES, GENISES, and a few others), short of having your own cartridge manufacturing machines. Handhelds use the same rule.

    And playing on disc consoles (PSX, PS2, PS3, XBOX, XBOX 360, DREAMCAST, GAMECUBE and SATURN (did I miss one?) requires either a swap disk or mod chip (which need to be bought). The GAMECUBE uses minidisks, so you'd have to burn the ISO onto one of those.

    You can, however, play N64 ROMS on an XBOX with a special emulator. There are a few tutorial pages around the net for that.

    Simple emulator: Project 64
    Good emulator: Project 64

    edit: What is wrong with discussing this problem here, I don't want to talk about it in PM.

    Uninstall it, reinstall it. If the problem persists reinstall Windows, bye.

    jordondavey161, relax, Inferno is only trying to help you.

    Also, I've merged your 2 threads, no need to have both of them when they are referring to the same problem.

    The compatibility list is pinned in the first thread of this subforum, you should start reading it:

    Project64, download it here:
    http://www.pj64-emu.com/downloads/

    Get both the necessary Binaries and Updates.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    It says "you need direct 6?"
    Do you mean DirectX?
    Because you will need a recent update of DirectX to emulate games.
    Get DirectX from here:
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
    Also, what is your graphics card, and when was the last time you updated its drivers?
    hmm... you might try the 1964 emulator. If it's your card (some don't support Directx too well) you can use their opengl plugin. I find it to be just as good the project 64. (I have both, I use the project 64k for online play.)
    Here's a video about how to change your plugins with a 1964 emulator and a Project 64 emulator.
