CDRwin 4.0E will not work
When I installed it and installed the ASPI drivers that it comes with, the installed ASPI for Windows XP. It just will not detect my DVD-RW drive.. I get an error when I try to dump a disc to hdd: "Load Disc Failed to initialize on Device 4,0,0" and when I try to burn it says "No CD-ROM recorder was found on the system".
It's a generic 16X DVD+/-RW drive.
Anyone got any ideas?

There should be more to that error message. Post it or take a screenshot.

See if your DVD/CD drive is on that list.

Screw it I'll just use CloneCD, I don't know anything about the DVD+RW drive.

There's also CDRwin 4.0F
Maybe they fixed something in that version that would make your drive work with it
