Default The Legend of Zelda - Parallel Worlds rom hack

    Hi

ive been trying to get this to work...

I have the ips patch and used Lunar IPS to patch to Legend of Zelda, The - A Link to the Past (U) [!]

    It doesnt seem to work??

    in read me it says

To play Zelda Parallel Worlds you will need:

    * The patch included.
    * A patching program such as LunarIPS (LIPS)
    * A copy of Zelda A Link To The Past (U) with HEADER
(Don't bother asking for the rom!)
    * CRC32: 26791EB5 (only if you hard patch the rom)
headered Patched Size: 1.5MB (1,573,376 bytes)
No header Patched Size: 1.5MB (1,572,864 bytes)

    Whats 'with HEADER' mean??

    Or is there a CRC32 setting i need ?

    tryed on zsnes and snes9x

Also having problems getting SMW2plusComplete {SMW2-yoshi island} rom hack working also, has scrabbled logo at beginning then nothing....

    Thanks fellas

The first ROM I used was the Euro version.

    It needed the US version.

Ninja edit: I don't even know what a header is...

A header is kind of like an ID3 tag for roms; for SNES roms it's 512 bytes.

It's found at the beginning of the rom's data and it contains some info about the rom like it's internal name.

You generally don't need headers to play roms in emulators, not sure if you need them to play roms on a console with a copier...maybe it depends on the copier?
