PSX ROM Castlevania Chronicles not working for me

downloaded every file on fire fox, extracted file #1 with win.rar with all files in the same folder made for the game. turned it into eboot and keys file with pop station gui,set files in my psp H/psp/game/wer wird and the game starts but when i go to start the game ,go to options or ect it freezes up and does nothing
it also says when starting up that no memory card could be found. what did i do wrong???

Did you test the game on your computer before turning it into an eboot?

I have no idea how to even do that. any suggestions where i could go to find information on how to do so

You'd take the iso and play it in an emulator like epsxe or psxfin.
