Default What to do after downloading

I have downloaded all ten parts of disk 1 FFVII. I think I did everything right, I told it to extract the first part, then I clicked okay on the winrar popup that said I needed part 2. I did this all the way to part 10, it went to 100% then back to 0% and to 100% again.

My only problem is that I do not know how to launch the game. Do I need to download the other two disks? I gave you guys information about downloading so you could see if I screwed up.

You can run the first disc without having the other two.

    Do you have an emulator?

I do not I really don't know much about this stuff, I found this site from a mgs video on youtube, and he said he was running it on his computer. I imagined I would be able to do that on mine. Is that possible?

If you have no previous experience with PSX emulation, I recommend you to read this thread first:
    http://www.epforums.org/get-started-...x.html?t=45884
Any further problem or query you have, please, post it here

EDIT: I've moved your thread to the emulation section of the forums.

You need to download all 10 parts for Disc 1, put all 10 parts in the same folder, right-click on any ONE part, and choose Extract Here.

You won't get any messages asking for other parts as the process from that point is automatic.

So, you will get the entire ISO file(s) for Disc 1.

Okay now this is most definatly related to a setting somewhere, but the game and sound is moving probably four times quicker then it should be. I bet this is a really easy fix, I tried help, found and I glanced at the configurations but I will take a more detailed look at them.

    I am using Pete's D3D Driver 1.76 for video
ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2 for sound
and I am using ePSXe CDR WNT /W2K core 1.5.2 for Cdrom.

I have edited Pete's D3D Driver 1.76, I checked FPS limit 1-200, but this did nothing.

I saw the thread about how ePSXe doesn't like dual-cores, (http://www.epforums.org/epsxe-does-n...752/index.html) but I have already finished installing that and doing the commands.

Open the emulator, go to cofig, video, configure, set fps limit at 60, and check the box that says use fps limit.

Whoops, looks like you tried that already. Instead, open the emulator, config, video, configure, copy settings to clipboard and paste on reply.

Indeed, that was the problem thank you to everyone who contributed.

Turn that on (make sure it has a check by it) or setting the fps limit won't do anything.

edit: Just in case you didn't notice what I was talking about, you have the Use FPS Limit option off.

Well.......... I hate to ask for more help but when I enter a battle, I have no battle menu, so I can't see my time, HP, or limit gauge. Any ideas? I also can't figure out how to run if that is possible. I am playing with my keyboard but I reconfigured the controls.

Read what Inferno posted here: http://www.epforums.org/read-now-ffi...x.html?t=46270

If that doesn't help, then repost.

As for the running problem, are you holding down whatever button you have assigned for x (or is it circle that is the default cancel button in that game?)?
