Gamefaqs used to be particularly bad, although I havent frequented their boards for a number of years.
But there was this teen forum that was the butt of this forums jokes for a bit - I swear down that my intelligence levels dropped just reading the mind-numbingly bad drivel that got posted on there.

Encyclopedia Dramatica has a problem. There has to be 20-30 pages bashing theism, religion, or any philosophy that could be considered a religion, then the Atheist on it get butthurt when you make fun of them. I mean, what the hell? The Atheist article wasn't even FUNNY until last week. So in return the articles on Christianity, Judism, and Islam all went to shit. They took out all the lulz and replaced it. One "joke" was simply "i R believe in god, u shud or yallz goin ta hell and be torterred by satin" (signed "Typical Christian who can't even spell "satan" right").
Not only was that impossible to read the first 3 times, but it lacks anything remotely funny. The hick-Christian jokes are older than humanly tolerable.
The only decent ones (jokes) written are the one about Catholic girls and the Crusader pic. The funny pages were at least 100 back from the current page.
Anyway, thats my rant. ED wins by far. Hell, even if ED winning gave it 1 million dollars, I'd still vote for it.

Either way, they both might be stupid but they have the notoriety to allow a thread such as this to take place...
Although with that said I have seen this places name crop up on a couple of occasions when other forummers have been chatting about emulation on other boards, which gives me a glowing feeling inside and also opens the possibility of a small touch of myself.
