After opening the emulator, and clicking config, sound, are the first 3 boxes checked? If not, that could explain things.

Also, what sound plugin are you using?

Mount the disc image onto a virtual drive

In ePSXe load from disc > Select the virtual drive with the disc image on.

If you hadn't of said that the music tracks were in CDDA, I would have said that your iso probably had the music ripped, because according to the epsxe compatibility list, it works 100% perfectly...

    Try getting another iso maybe?

If it's in *.iso format then it won't have audio unless they are stored in *.wav files seperately.

yes, I agree with Tathias, try another version.

It is a bin+cue iso and I'm starting to think that the problem is me the PC or both! because I got the first iso and it gave me problems so I deleted it and got this better iso that has not a single error according to cd mage, thx for all your help guys but there is another alternatives? how can I fix this?

things like digital audio are enabled in my cd rom so I just can't think in anything else!!!!!! if I go to the game options and try to change musics the cd keep reading but no music

Hmm... are there any sounds at all? On any of your games?

edit: Unless I'm mistaken, cdmage won't detect if music has been ripped from the iso... I'm not 100% positive about that though.

Can you post the cue please.

Right click > Open with > Notepad

Copy and paste its contents here.

Don't quote me on this, but aren't games with CDDA meant to be mounted for the CDDA to play in ePSXe?

Tanthias the musics are there even if cdmage can't check them I can listen all of them in windows media player, all games works perfect in epsxe but I think I will have problems with games that use CDDA tracks! games like that I can only hear the sfx not the musics

Astaroth that's what I thought too I mounted the image and no music! so I burned but yet no music! here is the cue:

FILE "WipeOut 3 [Special Edition] [PAL-E] [SCES-02845].BIN" BINARY

Do you have the CDDA option enabled in the sound plugin's options?
