my only hope is finding a girl with a point of view and morals and beliefs or whatever as "outdated" as mine...but they seem to be extinct,all that's left are "modern girls" with "mtv morals and attitude" that really think is a good thing to have lots of sex and not commiting to a single relationship and they call that "living the life" or "enjoying the youth" and stuff like that).

The girl you're looking for is sitting at home or maybe going to the library or church...those sort of places.

She's not clubbing and bar-hopping like those "modern girls", as you put them.

So, you're going to have a hard time finding the type of girl you want unless you look for her in the sort of places where she's likely to be.

I'm in uruguay...the total population of the country is just 3000000,it's very unlikely to find somebody of certain age that's not "compilant" with the latests trends and stereotypes or whatever. in a country with more millions of people living in the cities,there are more chances,but over here,I've never met more than 2 persons that share my interests,
and they're both male anyway so they don't count. well,I hang out with one of them and we play ps2 games and go to buy anime dvds and that kind of "nerdy" things.

edit: oh,I forgot to tell that I'm interested in one of his cousins,she's nice and funny (and hot),and some years ago,he told me she was kinda interested (or curious) about me,and asked him if I had a girlfriend and in birthday parties or when they went to the movies,she kept asking him to invite me to go along. well,that was a good sign,but it took me 3 years to make up my mind,and when I finally told the guy to give me her phone because I was planning to take her to the movies,he told me "she got a boyfriend a week ago",(and that I'm an idiot for not taking the opportunity and taking so long to make my mind and all that kind of things a guy tells another when he loses a once-in-a-lifetime chance). "well..." I said "it won't last too long,and when she dumps him,I'll be waiting for her". 3 years later she's still with her boyfriend and I'm still waiting. well,the good news is she's not a slut and she's a serious girl and an example of that nearly extinct "species".
the bad news is I was an idiot,maybe she was what I was looking for,(the fact that she can commit to a serious relationship that lasts for years is a good sign),and I lost the opportunity.

back to what I was talking about ("I've only met 2 people with the same interests,and they're both male so they don't count"),the other guy used to be our friend but "turned to the dark side" and changed a lot and now is more "normal" and less "nerdy" and hangs out with other people,goes to the gym,and that stuff. ha,he even GAVE AWAY his ps2 and all the games he had to somebody that he met recently and wasn't even a close friend or whatever. I think other people will say "he grew up" or something stupid like that.

I used to have a female friend back in highschool,but we were the total opposite,I don't even understand how we ended up talking and sitting next to each other in the class and being friends and all. it's a sad thing
we didn't keep in touch. after highschool I used to visit her 5 minutes every year on her birthday or call her if I didn't find her at home,and that was it,and now this year I didn't even get my 5-minutes-per-year of seeing her/talking to here,when I ringed the bell her mother came out and told me she moved to another city
I told her mother "if she calls tell her I say 'happy birthday'". luckyly her mother told me it was not permanent,she's going to come back,(if she didn't already). I wish she called me "hey,I'm back in town",but then again...we were friends years ago and we didn't keep in touch,I can understand her point of view,I'm a stranger now,she had no reason to tell me "I'm moving" or "I'm back" or whatever.
hahahahaha,sorry for my rants,I went offtopic,it's just that when I talk about that girl that used-to-be my friend,I forget about other stuff.
