Eh, do I REALLY need to answer this one? I think my response is going to be fairly obvious.

Couldn't sleep, so I might aswell make a post here.

Yeah, I have. Though, I must say that my first time was rather weird. It actually took me a few minutes to realize that I was penetrating the girl (now, I did know that I was on top of her, naked, and doing up-and-downery moves), her being all wet and my body being sort of paralyzed (I couldn't really feel my own body until I calmed down a bit). I just.. slipped in, I guess. So, anyways, my first time was nothing special and I don't think it lasted all too long.

Cyber is absolutely spot-on with just about everything he said. I'm currently in this pseudo-relationship with my best friend, and I must say that sex with her beats everything I had experienced in the past. It's a nice way to, like, express your love and whatnot. I'm going to ignore the fact that this whole thing will probably blow up in my face sooner or later. Yeah.

Edit: Is it bad that I had yet to realize how stupid this story is?

The question of the year, you say? Dear me, it looks like a question of this magnitude requires an equally excellent answer. Here goes~

    My answer:
    My reasoning:
    Further points of argument:
    Conclusion: !

    Cyberxion already said everything I might have said, and better than I might have said it. ^^; But no, I have not, and I don't particularly want to. I'm just not very interested. If that makes you feel that there is something wrong with me, then that's okay. It'll put our opinions of one another on a nice even footing. ^^;

I was joking in my opening post, but i really want to know why some people choose to not have sex or in your case how could you not be intrested in it? Sex is a primal instinct built into every single living creature. Honestly I think if you say you have no intrest in sex ,you are lying, saying that is like sayng you have no intrest in surviving

Not everyone has the same sex drive.
    Thinking so is just dumb.

Sex isn't a primal instinct, reproduction is. You only need to do it once for that. You're jumping around from having sex for fun to instincts to survival of an individual. Make sense.

Everyone has a sex drive, I just think some people try to supress the sex drive or maybe there are just some external factors that prevent a person acknowledging that they do in fact require sex to survive.

    edit-
My answer was in response to the one member who said he/she has no intrest in sex.

A logic assumption, yes, but not everyone has the same drive. No, you don't need sex to survive.

    Like I care.

To begin, a brief overview of asexuality

From a scientific viewpoint, asexuality is probably a genetic "defect" of sorts. In my opinion, there are probably varying levels of sexual desire. Testosterone levels probably play a big role. I'm sure there are also specific genes that control a desire to reproduce.

It's not too far fetched to say that some people have a minimal desire to have sex. In simplest terms, it would mean that their genetics have a much smaller chance of being passed on, which is why it is such an uncommon trait.

Well I guess that answers the reasoning behind the "im not intrested response" now back to the most common reason.. the i wanna wait till marriage thing........what is the reasoning behind that?

It's a nice way of telling the one you love you're not just in it for the sex. As was implied, I think, by Cyber.

    EDIT: Nope, it was Hun.

Um...I can't really explain it any better than 'I'm just not interested in it'. I guess it's the same with homosexuality? If you ask the average gay person why they like people of their own gender, I doubt they'll have much of an answer for you beyond 'I just do'. It's the same for me. It's just the way that I feel. I don't really have any interest in sex with either gender, and I don't really have any desire to forge relationships that go beyond close friendship. I don't mind what the scientific explanation is. It could be a sex drive dysfunction for all that I care. All that matters is that I'm quite happy this way, and thus I don't really feel that it needs to be changed, nor do I mind if other people don't believe it.

And lying? Possible. It could be that there's some deeply suppressed piece of me that's blocking my interest in sex, and I just won't admit it to myself. But again, it's a question of whether or not it's upsetting to me, and thus whether it's worth the effort to resolve. I can't say for sure why I am this way, but I don't really see it as a problem, so why ask questions? Faking an interest in sex as a teen, though? That was a problem. That actually upset me a great deal, and felt a thousand times more like lying...

To survive? No. To send forward my own genes, perhaps. But on an individual basis, sex isn't a necessity on the same level as food or water. I'll grant you the fact that it's a necessity on the scale of our entire species, but there's more than enough people out there having sex and making babies already. Any contribution I could make would be quite irrelevant. ^_~

Morals. Some people just don't find it right to share that act that leads to reproduction with people that they're not going to share their life with. It's a respectable value to have, even if people who practice it are a dying breed.
