They are an angelic chorus now, it used to be worse Anyways, there's no malice in their comments, you'll get used to their jokes, either that or don't pay them too much attention

The dude started up a thread asking about who watches Chuck, but didn't feel it important to maybe contribute something that would lead to discussion. Oh, I know that topics can evolve from nothing, but fuck me for thinking that people ought to put effort into things. So I said as much, just not all that tactfully.

I'm not going to apologize for being harsh. That's sort of my thing. I don't sugar-coat things for anybody. Yeah, maybe I could stand to be a little more thoughtful of other people's feelings, but maybe other people could stand to be a little less sensitive.

Having had the benefit of several months out so I can see the difference that would make, and with activity at an all time low, we should be embracing new members with open arms.

Yeah, well. There's a lot to be said about quality over quantity. Not that this guy is a worthless piece of shit or anything.

This isn't to imply that we should be an elitist clique. I just think that the quality of our members ought to be more important than overflowing the site with tons of people just for the sake of it.

That said, we really shouldn't be pushing people away. I'm not going to suddenly engage in self-censorship or anything, but I will make an effort not to bust out with the full brunt of my evil until a member has has sufficient time to understand that I'm not as much of an asshole as I come across. Or whatever.
