Not as bad as getting a diploma in something related to computers and ending up unclogging toilets.

    Oh.

Kind of normal, your job is more demanding and essential.

So, this old man was yelling at me in the lounge. Some stuff went down and I'm pregnant now.

I seriously need to sleep. In a while.

That's how I've rationalized it too. Computers are "essential" to business, but the simple creature comforts of shelter, plumbing, warmth...they outweigh technology.

There's that, but, like I said, you don't sit around all the time. You're up and about. Not dissing computer jobs, here, but it's a fact.

Honestly, I don't think I would enjoy a job sitting at a computer all day...just programming. My Associate's Degree is in programming, but what I really wanted from college was a degree in something that qualifies me to be a Technician, but I was jostled between hardware/software troubleshooting, Systems Analyist, NT Networking, and ultimately Programming.
