    Default Comcast hates torrents

Well for the past month or so I've hardly been able to torrent anything since comcast cuts almost any connection I try to make with peers. I've tried encryption, but it doesn't seem to have helped at all.

Is there any way around this?

old news... .i read theres a way in linux you can modify the iptables or something....

but i also read that its not healthy....

basically either deal with it, or switch ISP's.... honestly ur ISP pretty much has total control over what you use ur internet for....

I heard Deluge can stop internet traffic shaping, maybe you'll be able to connect to peers with this client? I wasn't able to connect to the tracker when I tried it. But I am not in the US.

I'd really consider just switching ISPs. Comcast asserts themselves way too much into their customers privacy :\

By switching my port and using this method I was able to start seeding again.
My upload speed still seems limited though, I'm getting around 42 kB/s when I should get at least 60 kB/s.
Sometimes when I take off my upload limit I can reach crazy high speeds for about 30 seconds. I got 140 kB/s once

I'll be watching this thread. InsightBB was bought by Comcast, and it will officially switch on Jan 1.
