    Thanks to everyone who has replied to this thread, all your input is much appreciated.

    And without further ado, here's the changelog for CFW 3.71:

    * Now uses 3.71
    * VSH Menu is not longer launched using HOME key, but using SELECT now. This is to not interfere with the XMB function of home, which is now more useful in this firmware.
    * Psp Slim: umdcache was allocating memory even when homebrew was launched, wasting memory that homebrew programs may want to use. Now umdcache module is stopped before it can allocate any memory, only in the case homebrew is launched.
    * Also, memory is unprotected for user memory usage by M33 core (only when homebrew is launched).
    * Developer, for a sample of how to use the extra memory, see the extra ram sample of the M33 sdk.
    * Both version boot now from 3.XX ipl, and are independent of 1.50.

    Can I play converted psx games with the 3.52 M33-4 firmware, or will I have to upgrade?

    Congrats on successfully downgrading your PSP

    Don't forget to select "Sony NP9660" in the UMD MODE in the recovery menu for 100% No UMD compatibility

    Edit: And thanx for the rep. Lol...you repped me three times

    I was using the M33 driver No UMD mode, but I'll have a mess around in the settings...

    Edit:

    I am trying to find info on playing psx games on the psp. I have googled for hours (*backs away from SA-X* ) but all I can find is info saying that I need firmware 3.02 OE-B...I'm currently running 3.71 M33-2. I have dloaded a ready converted game and need to know where to go from here.

    Been looking around, and can only find one semi-working emulator, made by some french guys. Only supports 1.50, and said that hardly any games are playable.

    I'm thinking it wont be possible until the PS3 thing happens.
