Does the error message look like the one in this post: http://forums.emulator-zone.com/show...67&postcount=5 ? If so, then this thread should answer what you should do. http://forums.emulator-zone.com/showthread.php?t=9154
You can't run PSX games in PCSX2...
True... but hey, he might have downloaded a PS2 game and just decided to not make a new thread... or tell anyone that he did so (downloaded PS2 game I mean)...
Though if that's true, last I heard there aren't many games that'll run full speed in that emulator yet are there? And unless I'm mistaken it takes a fairly good computer to run...
He should settle for Solitaire.
EDIT: Nevermind, didn't see the third page

WinRar for WinXP:
http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar371.exe
7-Zip for WinXP 32-Bit:
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sevenzip/7z442.exe
Install them both by double-clicking the .exe files.
Put all the Spiderman 2 rar files in the same folder.
Right-click on the first rar file, and choose Extract here, or choose 7-Zip then Extract here.
You should now have 2 files: .bin and .cue.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
DirectX - Latest version for WinXP.
http://www.softpedia.com/progDownloa...load-3545.html
Download and install by double-clicking the .exe file.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
pSX Emulator 1.13:
http://psxemulator.gazaxian.com/pSX_1_13.rar
BIOS file:
http://emu-russia.km.ru/files/bios/scph1001.zip
Download, right-click on rar, choose Extract to pSX_1_13\.
Unzip the BIOS file, put the bios file in pSX 1.13's bios folder.
Now move the Spiderman 2.bin and .cue files into pSX 1.13's cdimages folder.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Start pSX Emulator by double-clicking psxfin.exe.
Go to File > Configuration > Memory Cards > for Slot 1, click the little square with 3 dots > type one.bin > Open > OK.
Then go to File > Configuration > Controllers > For Device, choose your gamepad or joystick > For Type, choose whichever one matches with your gamepad or joystick.
Then click in the little box next to the picture of the UP button on a PSX gamepad, and press the UP button on your gamepad or joystick.
Then press LEFT, DOWN, and RIGHT on your gamepad or joystick to finish assigning the direction buttons.
Then continue to assign the rest of the buttons to your gamepad or joystick and click OK.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Now you have pSX Emulator ready to play Spiderman 2.
Go to File > Insert CD Image > choose the .cue file by double-clicking it.
The game should then start.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
There are other emulators but they use plugins which make them more complicated to use.
pSX Emulator isn't the best, but it's pretty good, and it is the easiest to use.
ok ill try that guys thx for the help really thx alot
