Default Sonic Adventure 2 -- Chao garden won't save properly...

So I *finally* got SA2 working perfectly on nullDC, but for some reason, whenever I exit the Garden and go back in, my Chao have reverted back to eggs. It's happened more than once, and it's frustrating. Help would be appreciated .

There is a special copy protection on SA2 that may be effecting this. Are you using a GDI or a self-boot image?

Err... It's a .cdi, and yeah, it's self-boot, if that's what you meant
Forgive me, I haven't emulated anything other than the N64, the GBA and the DS up until now--it's confusing.

Ok then this could either be a problem with the copy protection (if that cdi isn't patched to get around it) or a problem with nullDC's VMU emulation since the Chao data is stored on a seperate file on the VMU. Where did you get your copy btw?

My guess is the copy protection, since nullDC doesn't have any saving problems (in my experience)
