I am listening to a track created by myself *Puts shades on* It's Here:

I know it's shameless self promotion, but it's only a hobby and I'd love some constructive criticism on it.

Akiko Shikata's Gift From the West Wind. Felt like translating the lyrics. From the Japanese rather than the Italian because my Italian still sucks, and because I don't even know if Akiko's is correct. :'D

    Spoiler warning:
When Zephiro leads Flora by the hand in dance, the Tyrrhenian Sea turns a bright blue, and Spring comes forth.

As the melancholy winter begins to signal its end, the harbour comes alive with boats returning home. And a certain young man with cheeks flushed with colour walks across the bridge, surely on his way to return to his love.

The clouds in the sky clear amidst the wind blowing from the west, and fish begin to awaken from a long sleep, gently poking their heads above the waves.

When Zephiro whispers words of love to Flora, the flower buds on the trees swell pink in bloom, and Spring comes forth.

Steam whistles sound out across the pier as the harbour comes alive with people departing for distant lands. Those brave pioneers will depart for unseen shores, their hearts no doubt filled with both hope and anxiety.

The West Wind follows the flower petals to a new town, and the swallows sing out their delight at the new season with a brand new song.

I'd say Awake is their best album.

    Shinedown - Amaryllis
    Shinedown - Miracle
    Shinedown - Untiy
    Shinedown - Bully
    Shinedown - Trough the Ghost.

Pretty much all of their Amaryllis album.

It makes me feel slightly less sad...
