    Default FF9 game crash

Hello,i've been trying to solve this problem for a while but can't just find the solution for it.The problem is,when I try to go up to the Fat chocobo by jumping up from the water at chocobos paradise in disc 4, the screen just turns black and freezes there.I'm using epsxe 1.6.0 with Pete's D3D Driver 1.76 and Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41 and i've also tried 1.5.2,so I was wondering if I could get any kind of help from here?

Try another video plugin (Peops Soft 1.17), and it if fails again, then try the pSX emulator.

Yet they should. What makes you say that they don't? You getting an error message or what?

As for memcards, the ones you use in ePSXe will work in pSX.

To transfer memcard files from ePSXe to pSX Emulator:

Look inside ePSXe's memcards folder for 1 or 2 files inside with .mcr for their extensions.

    Those are ePSXe's memcard files.

Copy them to pSX Emulator's card's folder, then do this:

    Start pSX Emulator v1.13.

File > Configuration > Paths tab > make sure for Memory cards it says cards.

Then click the Memory Cards tab > For Slot 1, click the little square button with the 3 dots > Double-click the cards folder to open it > choose the first .mcr file > Open > Apply > OK.

Then repeat those steps for Slot 2 to add the second memcard file.

So you tried other plugins and it didn't help?

Sounds like your copy of the fourth disc is corrupted. :/

Then you probably have a bad copy of Disc 4.

We have the US version available for download here:

Not if your copy is the US version.

If that;s the case, then you just need to download all the files for Disc 4.

Then once you extract the game files from the split rar files, you can resume from your last save.
