    Default FFVII problem. Help!

I found this site earlier today and was blown away by the amount of ROM's available for the PSX.

I started downloading FFVII and have got all of Disc 1. Once i'd downloaded all the seperate .RAR files, i extracted them all and got the folder.

However, I'm pretty new to the whole emulation/PSP homebrew scene and got confused when i opened the Disc 1 folder.

See, i'm currently upgrading my PSP firmware from 1.5 to 3.10 OE A which, from what i understand lets you drag and drop PSX ISO's onto your memory stick and play them using the PSP's official emulation software.

Thing is, in my Disc 1 folder, i have four files:

    • A CUE file
    • An IMG file
    • A CCD file
    • A SUB file

How do i go about turning these into ISO files so i can put them on my PSP?

    Thanks for the help.

You could try mounting it with Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% or try burning it through the CUE file and then rip it as an ISO on your own.

I never tried this though but some of the other members might give you guidelines if you're unsure on how to do it.

Ok, i will give those a look and see what happens.

Is there a specific help thread that deals with any problems that might occur from downloading the ISO's?

    I couldn't find one when i looked.

Show file extensions and rename FFVII.IMG to FFVII.ISO

Voila, you'll have an ISO image. ;]

When i renamed the .IMG file to a .ISO file it became another WINRAR file that wouldn't extract

What does show file extensions mean? I imagine it has something ot do with me not doing that lol

    Thanks for the help btw.

Oh no, just open WinRAR and find the tab/option for file extensions, then simply uncheck the ISO one.

    EDIT: Options>Settings>Integration

Ok, so now i've done that, i rename the file to .ISO right?

EDIT: Renamed the file and got the .ISO but when i put that in the GAME folder within my PSP along with the other files i got out of the .RAR files, it just comes up as 'Corrupted Data' when i go to it on my PSP.

    Any ideas why?

Never done this, but unless I'm mistaken you need to do something to your ISO file. The PSP won't read it as is.

You have to convert it to an eboot file. That's all I know though, this claims to be a tut on how to do it:
