Use bin2boot to make a selfbootable image because I cured the problems you were having with the program?

Time Stalkers makes an awfull screen

Yeah, the trick with the new name was great, but it still seems some images won't work on my Dreamcast

Are you burning at the slowest speeds? You should also understand that a lot of games were poorly ripped an may be missing some of the content in the original game to make them fit on a normal CD so if something seem funny then that may be the case.

Time Stalkers is like 300mb. There wasn't anything 'ripped' or 'downsampled'. It sounds like a VGA or NTSC/PAL problem.

Yeah maybe, I always burn 8x.
I will get another Time Stalkers file. I heard the game is awful, but I think it's worth a try. Landstalker was great.
    Same procedure with Streetfighter.

Are you having problems with games, or not? Have you resolved them?

The only thing I can think of is that you are using a VGA box, which utopia is incompatible with. Which will cause a garbled image on the monitor..

Well I get a new version of Streetfighter. But my new version of Timestalkers also makes strange graphics on the tv-screen.
    But I don't think I use a VGA box, it's a second hand DC, so I don't know exactly.

The same problems I had with the DC bins and cues I have now with the PSX emulation from this site. I downloaded three files - Blaze&Blade, Crash Bandicoot Racing and Brave Fencer Musashi.
I tried to turn them into a cdi with bin2boot, but it only creates a temp file.

You can't play PSX games on your DC by just converting them to cdi.

You need a PSX emulator that's been ported to the DC called BleemCast to play PSX games on a DC.

Somebody else will have to tell you the rest, since I don't have a DreamCast.

I've got the Emulator, that's not the problem. I could also play the PSX games on my PS2, that's no problem either.

But I still can't convert them from bin to cdi 'cause bin2boot just creates a temp file and doesn't really finish! I just need someone to explain me how that really works with PSX files.
I suppose all files on this side extract to bin and cue files...

Burn Playstation 1 games to a CD-R (From bin/cue) and play them on your PS2.

bin2boot hacks the boot file of a Dreamcast ISO game so that it will boot in a Dreamcast without the need for the Utopia boot disc.

    [EDIT]
    @Astaroth
Don't you think you could have explained it a bit nicer instead of driving away members?

    No.

You have to be pretty stupid to use a Dreamcast piece of software on a Playstation image. Has to be said.
