    Default Shenmue

    Hello,
I've got the following problems with the Shenmue Iso.
First, I burnt them with Alcohol at 8x Speed and I tryed 700MB cd's as well as 800MB.

    Shenmue I
I can't get the Shenmue Passport running, it shows the Sega and AMD logo and then returns to the Dreamcast menue.

Is it normal that there's no sound in the cutszene when Ryo rescues Nozomi from the harbor and they drive home on the motorcycle?

    Shenmue II
The Game won't except my "cleared game data", may it be because of the difference between Shenmue I being NTSC and Shenmue II being PAL?

Is there no speach in normal, unnecessary dialouges? Like in Shenmue I, or is this some kind of bug? It's kind of strange to see the lips move and hear no voice.

Hope to get some help, thanks

On the Kalisto release of Shenmue I (sounds like the one you have) The CDDA is missing. Therefore there is no BGM in the motorcycle scene. Download the 'perfect series' release.

The disc probably resets due to the 'reset bug' google it.

    Shenmue II
The game won't accept your save because indeed you've played the NTSC version of Shenmue I. You can probably hex edit your save and stuff if you're 1337 enough.

Again, download the perfect series release of Shenmue II, aswell. Because Echelon removed a lot of speech.

I am not aware of any Passport disc images that actually work. That's why I never include it with Shenmue.

If it really works, I'd like to have it. I know I have downloaded and burned at least 5 non working copies.

Okay so it works. I got to the main menu, selected movies, music, etc.

It does take a while to load, however.

If you tried it on a real Dreamcast, I'll beg you to upload it.
