Default How to do a get a rom to work for my playstation emulator

When I down load the files for the ps games, they download as rar files. I need ISO files, what do I have to do?

I have no clue, I have only done snes and sega emulators up to this point.

Someone please, please help. I can not find a faq anywhere for the process.
