Default Want to play Earthbound online

I recently moved, and me and my friend want to beat Earthbound (1 player, for the SNES) Together online. Do you have any ideas on how this can be done?

You can play while he looks and vice versa, but you can't both be playing at the same time (duh). Use Zsnes, and read this little tut: http://board.zsnes.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3679

I think they stopped using the Netplay thing after version 1.42, so use that one.

What Evans is saying is that you can only play multi-player games online.

    And Earthbound isn't a multi-player game.

    Secret of Mana is though.

Also, SNES 9x has netplay too:

Yeah but It shouldn't have been moved here, I'm looking for a way for us to take turns playing or for him to be able to watch me play, then send the save file and Continue.

It should work, technically. Play, save in-game, then share the save file. At any rate, I suppose that trying it yourselves is the best way to find out if it can be done.

If the two of you are using the exact same ROM dump and emulator then there's no reason why swapping save files back and forth won't work.
