    Default DMC3 Control Problem

I've updated with the patch so that I can use my joypad. And I've tried to config it with "GPadCfg.exe". But I can't work it out..

I am using an Xbox joypad with the plug cut off and a USB attatched. And I am using XBCD drivers. The controller works fine in Onimusha 3 and other games.

Well anyway my problem is I have to move around with the right analog stick on the controller. Do you know how hard this makes the game to play?

So yeah. Does anyone have any great ideas that will make this playable? I've never completed this yet and I want to.

Sorry, you've run out of support tickets for this quarter. Please wait until the next quarter (quarter 4 07) before continuing.

    Try joytokey

    http://www.electracode.com/4/joy2key...%20Version.htm

    or NTpad

I got JoyToKey but I'm unsure what I'm supposed to be doing with it?

I use XPadder instead of JoyToKey:
    http://xpadder.com/

It's a lot easier to configure.

I think what Panda wants you to do is set Onimusha 3 to use the keyboard, then use either JoyToKey or XPadder to map the keyboard keys used by the game to your controller.

You can't change the control scheme. Just the buttons, not the analogue/dpad config

In DMC 3 special edition, you can choose between analog and dpad for controls

eh, I'm not really sure then, that's pretty much all the mapping software I know of, normally it should come with some WORKING software for it

On the software that comes with it I can click 'edit' but nothing happens on the controller thing. If I click test I can press buttons and it shows up. I'm rather confused by this program.

I think it works without having DMC3, shall I upload it so you can try?

Worked fine for me. I think I know what your doing wrong though, you can't use it to map hats or axis'. When you click the analog stick, thats to map a button, like R3 or L3. You'll have to map those in game.

Can't. You can only map buttons not HATs/AXISES as you said.
