is there a way you can adjust brightness,to make the game brighter

I wanted to know if there is anyway you can adjust the brightness in the game to make it better.I noticd in certain games,such as resident evil that some of the FMV and cinematic sequences are dark.Its hard to see whats going on,when they show certain scenes.Is there a way you can make the games brighter?I have epsxe 1.5.2

The only way to make it brighter is to increase your monitor's brightness but you have to understand that games like that are meant to be that dark to add to the suspense of the game. Doom 3 has the same concept in it's brightness scheme. There are areas of that game that you literaly can't see anything in front of you until you shine your flashlight.

If you play in fullscreen, check the video config window, top left. There's a button... Select Device, or something. Click it and you'll see adjustment for "gamma (fullscreen only)".

yea I had a feeling that it's probably how the game is,considering its a survival/horror.I just wanted to make sure.Thanks for your help
