hello.
i've been lurking around here for a while but never really posted anything....
i really have come to like using emulators for playing some of the old games that i love. but i have some problems that need sorted out. ok so im thinking of getting a DS but i want to put some of the emus on it. is this possible? also i have the V.B.A. emu and i wanted to know if i could put ds games on it and where could i get ds roms? and still more... i like the game boy advance ROMS but everytime i try to download one it says i need a username and password. how can i fix this?when i do get a DS and say i wanted to use pokesav, how would i get it onto the ds would i have to use a standerd USb cable to link a DS to my computer? i mean the after effect of it.thanks for all your help and oh yeah im drew.

Try to use the proper rules of grammar. I would also suggest separating your different questions into different paragraphs. That makes it much easier for people to figure out what you are asking without having to decipher anything, thus it becomes more likely you will get answers.

I would also suggest that you read the stickies and search for your information using the search tools on this forum.

VBA can only run GB, GBC and GBA games. If you want a good NDS emulator try No$GBA but don't expect it to run well as NDS emulation is still a work in progress.

As far as connecting your NDS to your computer you have to take it apart and solder wires to it to connect your your printer port. The port on the NDS is only for the charger and also supports the GBA SP headphone adaptor (original NDS only) it cannot transmit data. The NDS handles all data transfers such as multiplayer linking is done via the NDS' internal wifi hardware.

yes,ok. but i have been reading several threads on the r4ds and i plan on buying one, from what i read this is a port 1 cart that goes where the nds games go right?

and can the r4ds have emus? not just as in nds roms but i mean like, can i put a project64 or etc. on it?

and also from what i have read i see that this r4ds has a video player.is there a tool to convert .mov files to the ones it uses?

i have a psp but for some reason no memory sticks read when i insert them into the psp. is this a problem with my psp internally or is it a loose spring or something?

i bought a ds and im ordering the R4 and its coming. im asking what types of emus can i put on the r4? can i put an emu like project64 on it?or someting smaller like V.B.A?

also it can play mp3s and some movies right? and whats a GP2x?

Not sure what the problem is with your PSP, you should probably get the console checked out if it's under warranty.

ok i bought the R4ds i'm pretty sure i know what it does now. im hoping it comes in a few weeks. as for the psp its still under warrenty so i'm going to have to check that out. but i'm hopeing that its just a minor problem and it gets fixed shortly. becouse as of right now my psp is version 1.50. when they take it are they going to upgrade it? becouse the whole reason i left it at 1.5 is becouse i wanted to put home brew games on it.

Supposedly you can now downgrade and/or unbrick any PSP, it's a bit complicated though and I'm already using custom firmware so I haven't tried it.
