    ok, well thanks to inferno, the new rom worked. . almost, now the damn thing hangs on a black screen after the games intro vid. . *Sigh*

    The copy I've played on SSF is PAL. You might want to track down a PAL copy.

    I downloaded mine here. You'll have to convert the APE files to WAV with this.

    SSF was recently updated again:
    http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~phantasy...9_alpha_R3.zip

    So, try that one, maybe there were some bugs that needed to be fixed in the previous version.

    Then get Cassini, and maybe Yabause, and try Guardian Heroes with them.
    See if it crashes when you get to the second level with them.
