    Default SSF trouble

I mounted a Dragon Force Iso and am trying to play it in SSF. Problem is, I always get the menu and when I try to start the application, I get the sega logo, and then the menu again. Talk about frustrating. I need help.

What is the error? Is it about the 'Game is not suitable for this console'?
That means your BIOS doesn't match the region of the game. Change BIOS or get SRP (saturn region patcher) to change the region.

There is no error. It simply starts up, shows the Sega logo, and then goes to the menu, rinse and repeat. I'm using SEGA_101 bios and the game region is USA.

From where did you download the game?
    Give the link please.

OK, I finally downloaded and tested the game, and at first it wouldn't work for me either.

First, you should download and use this fixed cue sheet:
    http://www.sendspace.com/file/njm7s3

Then for Daemon Tools, right-click the little icon in the system tray > Emulation > All options ON.

The icon should go from red to green.
    Now, try playing the game.
    It should work.

Thanks ALOT! I was starting to get extremely frustrated. Now I can finally play it again like I played it on the Saturn. Nostalgia attack!

Yeah. Make your own thread, don't revive an old one.

    Did you already do this?

"For Daemon Tools, right-click the little icon in the system tray > Emulation > All options ON.

The icon should go from red to green.
Now, try mounting and playing the game.
    It should work."

If that doesn't work, then zip up the cue sheet and upload it here as an attachment.

And for now, I'll leave this thread open, but next time you have a problem, make a new thread instead of revivng an old dead one.

My appologies. I was always taught to post on an existing thread instead of starting a new one. I will start a new one from now on. i had already set the all options on and no luck so here is the cue file.

I'm going to have to free up some space and download the game to try it out to see what might be wrong with it.

This'll probably take about an hour.

    OK, I give up.

I've tried everything I could think of: different settings, different bioses, changing the region of the ISO, older copies of SSF, older copies of Daemon Tools...

For some reason, this copy of the game won't work in SSF even though every compatibility list says SSF can play it.

But this copy does work in Satourne, Yabause, and Cassini.

Of the 3, Cassini plays it the best, so here's a download link:
    http://www.zshare.net/download/67851895f92fef/

Install it, go to Program Files > Cassini > put the .cue/.bin files in the SaturnISOs folder > open Frontend.exe > Run Saturn Image/Configure > Configure Cassini tab > adjust the settings how you want them > Load Disc tab > Double-click Guardian Heroes (U).cue > and the game should start.

The sound and graphics will be slightly glitchy in places, but the game is playable.

A different ISO may be needed? I've played it in SSF without a hitch... I use Alcohol 120%'s virtual drive, however.

    Some alternative ISO's:
