You can make an image from the newly soft modded stock hdd, then build the 80gb from that.

Wait a minute...You can't boot from the 80gb atm is that right?

You will have to start from scratch then.
    My two options are.

    1. Format the 80gb hard drive (which I've got the files for. I just remade C and E with SID, UnleashX and the needed files in E)

    2. Go back to the 10gb hard drive.

    - I am going to use the C and E folders that I posted up there ^
    - I am just waiting for the go ahead, really...

    edit: here's C and E

... Wait, it's locked... Does that mean I can't unlock it?

Try the first option, if that doesn't work...Use your stock hdd

Use the Slayers disc I uploaded.

Select option 3) New Install/Full rebuild.
Then select option 3b) New Install/Full rebuild - Retail hd.

That will put your Xbox back to retail...You can now start from scratch with the soft mod.
You can now use xbhdm to backup the stock hdd and re-build the 80gb hdd...

    Edit: ...

You used the same eeprom as your stock, you can still unlock it with xbhdm.

The 80GB drive is locked atm. Does that mean I can't format it with xbhdm?

I never wrote down the number, that it gave me. Shit.
I took a picture of the screen, but it was too blurry to make out the numbers.

    Thank God for that.

Right I'm off into the world of xbhdm...

    1. Unlock hard drive
    2. Build hard drive from scratch using C and E on the disc
    3. Lock the hard drive
    4. Profit

    Correct?

Couldn't get into xbhdm with that hard drive in the PC. It was either not detecting the hard drive, or it wouldn't detect the DVD-ROM.

So, you know what. I've accepted it. That hard drive is past it.
It was all just signs of it being on its way out, aye?

    Maybe...

I have a Seagate 120gb in mine...It has never given me any problems.

My cousin's notorious for dealing in broken PC parts.
Guess it's what was wrong with it. I just chose to ignore it.

Well, I'm probably going to get a 160GB IDE, when I plan on upgrading the HDD, again.

Thank you for ALL of your help, Jack!

I remember reading somewhere about hdd's over a certain size not being recognised as the size they are...There is a way around it, but I can't remember...

Check Xbox scene, I read it there...somewhere.

    Edit:

137GB. At which point you need to make a G drive.
