    Wink mobile emulation?

yea i was just curious to everyone's take on mobile emulation. i heard that it was possible to run an snes emulator on a psp. is this true?, and if so can u run something a little more advanced? i mean if the psp can originally run games definately better than playstation and sometimes similar to playstation 2 then why not from, lets say, a nintendo 64? and is it possible to get an emulator onto a smartphone, or some kind of handheld such as a t-mobile sidekick, n-gage, etc? if so what is everyone's suggestion. just wonderin cuz i figure what better games to have on your phone then the classics u enjoyed the most.

The n-gage can emulate GBC, GBA, nes and snes.
    There could be more.

PSP can run PSone games, and I think that's about as good as can be emulated on it. Anything else would be, I guess, too demanding.

Dunno about cell phones and such.

i saw this guy in my computer class playing harvest moon on psp, i asked him about it and he said that he was running an snes emulator, but wouldnt tell me where, or how, he got it...

i guess an n-gage would be the better choice here then... if only verizon had a phone like that... damn contracts

i wonder if somehow you could merge a psp and phone capabilities without breaking the law..............

It is very possible to run SNES, PS1, and other emulators on PSP. You just need to either have a 1.5 firmware PSP or a PSP with custom firmware. You can find tutorials and such by search the qj.net forums.

Cellphones can run emulators when they have a version of the symbian os (mostly Nokias). There are also a lot emulators for Pocket Pc and Palm os, and a smartphone with either of those probably runs a few then.
