Thread: So, why does pSX newer vesions not work for me?

    is it something that I can fix? if you need to know my OS it's Windows Media Center with SP2.
    Look it up in the PSX FAQ.
    You need to download a .dll file so that it runs.(at least for 1.11, which is what I started out with.)

    Nah, it skipped on FMVs and was kinda shoppy and slow in battles (All I played was FFs.)

    and sometimes it just randomly slowed down, but I fixed that by closing everything before playing.

    However, now that ePSXe actually runs perfectly now, I'm good. <33

    It gives you a missing dll error when that's the problem.

    Hmm, this has never been an issue for me.
    Well that's why I use ePSXe and PSX.
    and because I don't feel like configuring ePSXe when I wanna play certain games.

    You get that maessage when you don't have the latest verison of DirectX 9c. Update your copy of DirectX and it will work.

    Even if you decide you don't want to use pSX anymore, you should still let the author know about that error as there might be a bug in the newer versions that's causing it.
