Default So, why does pSX newer vesions not work for me?

I'm usuing pSX VERSION 1.10 as that's the only one that'll work for me, for some reason.

I tried downloading v 1.11 and gor an error message, then tried to see if the new 1.12 would work, and got the same one.

    A picture of it

is it something that I can fix? if you need to know my OS it's Windows Media Center with SP2.

I can't help you on such a specific issue, but why the need to use a newer version if the one you have now works?

i like that the updates offer...
Like my working pSX doesn't let me use a joy pad right, and a few other things i don't mind as much.

and, well, pSX is the only emulator that actually runs things at full speed.

Gotcha. I never used it myself since it doesn't run even when configured correctly. I prefer ePSXe and VGS/Emurayden. About your issue, you might as well ask for help on their own forums. I'm not saying people like Haldrie and such don't know, but yeah.

    i wasn't aware they had a forum...

but yeah, it's the only one that lets me play psx games right because me computer is old, it's from 2000, and doesn't even have that great of stuff so many other computers back then were having (like an ethernet card. and CD burner.)

but i'll go look on their forum..

Don't worry about your comp being old. I can manage to play PSone games on my old P3 with onboard everything. It's older than yours.

    P3 = Pentium 3 = 500MHz, 2 or 4 MB graphics card, and 450 MB RAM.

Which should be enough, but you might want to put some more RAM in there. Especially if you're running XP.

Yeah, I wish I had more RAM.

You're saying you get it to run 100% perfectly?

Like, wtf are your configurations? if...you're using epsxe...

i have a old dell laptop, 1ghz PIII, 64mb video and 256mb ram, but it runs things too fast

your comp should be able to run it, i use the Pete's software plugin, and im much too lazy to find a link, because well, i know SegNin has it.

but just google "Pete soft plugin" and it should let you play epsxe at full speeds

You might not wanna use that stretching value, though. I'm surprised it works for me.

    Oh yeah, right. XD

I'm pretty sure that if you disable sound altogether, it'll play a bit faster.

W-O-W. I configured it and whatnot like you, and like.

I started playing FFTactics, and that first FMV thingy, before you go to start the game ran PERFECTLY.

Not even pSX could make that run perfectly.

    Yay! <33

What do you mean pSX doesn't run it perfectly? It does for me.
