Default Need help setting up VisualBoyAdvance

I want to play Pokemon: Emerald on the emulator, but I'm not sure what settings I need to use to get it to work. So far, all I get is a white screen and it says "Loaded Battery" at the bottom-left corner.

I tried that, and followed all the directions, but it didn't change anything. I still get a white screen.

You have to delete all the save files for Emerald (both .sav & .sgm) before starting a new game.

Ok, that got it working. I guess I missed the deleting .sav files part.

I figured you missed one of them because vba-over.ini works as long as you delete all your old saves.
