Nah it won't be the last Metal Gear. Last MGS most likely and also the last Metal Gear with "the" Solid Snake, but the series will continue under someone else's supervision. A completely new Metal Gear series with someone else as the main character could be interesting.
But I actually do believe Kojima this time. MGS4 will be his last one.
