I don't think that Dead Or Alive 2 plays at fullspeed in Dreamcast emulators.

It may well be a hardware/software issue, though. I'm more of a console kid, sorry.

You could tell us your system specs, graphics, processor and ram. And we will be able to determine from there if you should get a good speed, or not.

That should be decent enough for Chankast/NullDC. I'm being lead to believe it's an emulator issue.

    I haven't.
I've never really ran a game in Chankast for longer than a few seconds.

At the moment. I've only got 16mb shared graphics, so it's not even worth me testing it. If I had like, a 7/8xxx I could probably pull off a decent speed.

    EDIT:
    NTSC-U DOA2
    PAL DOA2

I see.....ermm can better graphics card make your games much smoother?

Ouch the game really runs slow?

But with a good vga lets say 7600gs 512mb will that stable things?

If your graphics card's from the Direct X9 era, it'll play games in Chankast at decent speeds, depending on processor and RAM.

Your processor and RAM are sufficient. So I think you could do with a new graphics card. Get a 7600GT, or something.

    It's mainly your CPU.

ChanKast only needs a ATI Radeon or Nvidia GeForce video card (or any other card that supports hardware T&L)

Although having a faster card might help for some games.

OK thanks for the advise but can I ask a last question? can you show me if Resident evil code veronica is playable in chankast or Nuldc..because I'm currently downloading it..

Ouch I guess I should buy a core 2 duo then..

I've got an Athlon 64 X2 (dual-core) 4600+, with 2 GB RAM, and only a Nvidia GeForce 6150 LE (which is not a great card, but it's good enough for DC/Saturn/N64/NDS emulation).

And Code Veronica works in ChanKast with a few minor errors:

I'd try it NullDC first though, because they might have fixed those minor errors.

Oh btw, you could pick up a Dreamcast, relatively cheaply. It'll play all burned games 100% compatible.

It'll be cheaper than buying a Core 2 Duo.

uh...what!???? no. no you can't. Try a 3-figure pricetag instead. The motherboard and processor are the priciest parts in a PC with scary prices. They keep me awake at night

And DOA2 indeed doesn't play at full speed for anybody. That's an emulation issue. The emulators' current versions don't run it at full speed at the moment.
