Default Can't get Space Channel 5 to run...

Sigh... Ok, I don't accually know if it's a problem with the ISO, but I originally had a BIN and CUE file which I converted to a ISO using a program called MagicISO.

Whenever I mount said ISO onto Deamon 3.29 I use drive I:, in the "Configure Drive" window I have i: selected. In plugins CDrom interface xxx is selected. Now, as I said, I mount the (DC) Space Channel 5.ISO in virtual drive i: using Deamon 3.29, once thats done I go into Chankast, go to Run>Start, and up comes the following:

And when I close out of that and go to Start Game...

I'm taking a wild guess here but... Maybe it's reading my game disk as a music disk? Or perhaps I just messed up. Am I not supposed to use MagicISO? I've tried running from the CUE file but I get the same results.

Some input would be grateful, thanks.

    Why did you convert it?

And why to .iso, instead of .cdi, or .nrg?

Well, if you don't have the original .bin/.cue, then try the .iso with NullDC, although if it doesn't work with Chankast...

    Get NullDC from here:
    http://www.epforums.org/nulldc-relea...844/index.html

    Get the BIOS from here:
    http://www.sendspace.com/file/gj072x

Also since it was in .bin/.cue, you probably need a boot disc to run it, so get that from here:

I do have the original BIN and CUE files. And I thought I was supposed to have it as an ISO, I didn't realize that Dreamcast games were in a different format.

How do I get this game to run? Do I need to convert my BIN/CUE files into CDI/NRG, as you stated, and am I missing anything else?

    Don't convert.

Use the boot disc to start the game.

Load the boot disc into Daemon Tools, start ChanKast, then when it asks you to Load the game disc, unload the boot disc from Daemon Tools, and load the game disc.

At least, I think that's how it's done.

I can't get older versions of Daemon Tools to work on my comp, so I use NullDC instead of ChanKast.

    I got this:

    http://i13.tinypic.com/67znd54.jpg

And when I exit it, it goes back to the menu where it plays cds (I posted a picture in the first post, it's the first link.). Then, when I exit that and go to Start Game is just does the same thing over again.

    Edit:
I just tried using nullDC and it keeps crashing

If it was set to english it would help a lot.

Use bin2boot to convert the .bin into a selfbooting CDI. Load the on virtual drive, then load it on Chankast.

That's the "wrong cable" message. Change it to the other one.
Options -> Cable Type -> VGA.

If it's already on VGA, choose the other one, NTSC.

Well, the game is supposed to be emulated, just had to check. Their NullDC compatibilty list is still in its infant stages, many games still need to be added to it.

I got it to work! Thanks guys.

    Edit:
Only now it's running too fast, and it's unplayable (at least for me). Is Space Channel 5 not compatible with ChanKast?
