I sold my PSP because it was rubbish. Even on long car journeys I found sitting and doing nothing more fun than running around at 10 FPS on GTA. And I hate doing nothing.

Whoever has a PSP and is contemplating buying a lite is sad IMO. Spend your money on better things. Nothing wrong in buying a handheld/game console, but buying another means either you're basically a rich bastard or you have no real life.

I don't even get why people who have a DS would also buy a DS lite (unless they sell their old one to get the lite). It's your money, sure. I don't give a shit what you do with it, but I won't be wasting it that's for sure.

It's like when the Wii and DS Zelda mod kits came out. They sold for $600-$800, and NGamer magazine said they were 'worth every cent'. Fuck no. I don't think I could be friends with someone who pays $800 for some plastic Zelda mods.

    2 reasons I bought a psp.

    Castlevania x chronicles
    and portable psx.

I wont be getting a PSP lite.

Also I still have my fattie DS because the Dpad sucks on DS lite.
Power sliding on mario kart became too much work.

Castlevania sealed the deal for me a while ago. So, I will hold my purchase until this new version comes out... I will pass my judgment when I finally have one.

Pfff, anything gaming is a waste of cash if you think about it. I'm not rich but I will gladly upgrade without hesitation. I might not have a life though but we'll talk about that another day.

Nothing wrong with upgrading, like I do with PCs. My friend has a GBA, and bought a GBA SP when it came out but still kept his GBA.

    EDIT: Ex-friend.

Also, there's wasting cash and there's stupidly wasting cash. Buying a poster of David Hasslehoff is a waste of cash, but paying $1000 extra for a signed poster is a stupid waste of cash.

    Actually, they're both pretty stupid.

I agree, who the hell would WANT a poster of Hasselhoff, the Baywatch boy?

Ok to put this back in line... I will buy one as stated earlier.

I don't see any advantage of having it slimmer. I'd rather something to hold onto.
I suppose it could do with some weight loss alright. Even without the battery, it's a tad bit heavy. But nothing I'd go out and buy a slim one for.

    eh, I might.

maybe they'll do one of those "trade in your old PSP for a discount on the new one" thing...

However only if it can run homebrew :p
