I don't have a VCR anymore. It ate tapes and eventually it ended up causing blown fuse.

Problem not as bad as I originally though, I was just letting it get to me. I am going to be testing movies for a while to watch for lag. It does seem like Ghost Rider laged. Could have been a scratch, or it could have just been a bad special effects job. I have also noticed a couple more hiccups in Forza, but maybe I just notice it more on my tv because it is bigger.

I am watching the only BR DVD I have, and it looks pretty great. No issues with the video so far. I might buy an HDMI cable just to free up some space, and it might look better.

I would but it was already returned by my friend. He rented it and brought it over. It was only about a 2 or 3 second part during a special effect. I had noticed no other problems with the movie, besides of course it being horrible. Could have just been the special effect, or my mind playing tricks on me. I was watching out for video problems. The chances are that the combination of that fact, and my friend commenting that it seemed slow, made me jump to conclusions.
