Default Tales of Destiny II Controller issue...

    Hi Everyone,

I just downloaded disc 1 of Tales of Destiny II from the Emuparadise Playsation ISO section and played it on espxe 1.6.0. I am using the keyboard to control and when I pause and go to the menu screen it skips over certain tabs. I can't get it to stop on the ITEMS or SAVE tab. Has anyone experienced this problem before?? Does anyone know how to fix?

    Thanks in advance

I've been playing this game perfectly (with a joypad) on ePSXe 1.5.2, try downgrading.

I just tried on 1.5.2 and it still didn't work. I am using a keyboard because I don't have any joypads. When I pause the game, it skips over every other tab so I can't access STRATEGEY, COOK, ITEMS, STATUS, or SAVE. Is there anyway to make this work with the keyboard??

    Thanks

Config > Video > Configure > Use FPS Limit.

If that doesn't work, try also setting the FPS limit to 60 fps.

If that doesn't work, then go to Config > Game Pad > Pad 1 and make sure you haven't mapped more than one function to the same key.

It works fine for me but I have a joypad. Sorry I can't help you anymore. Wait for Cookie or SegNin.

    EDIT: There's Segnin

Okay, so I played with the game pad configuration because I thought maybe it had something to do with the fact that I have a keyboard and maybe the game uses the analogue (I don't know, I never played the game before). I have my L analogue stick configured to the "j" key on my keyboard. When I hold "j" and then use the arrow to move I can get it to stop on the desired tab. It's not perfect but it works.

    Thanks for the help.
