    Thanks a lot for this topic - it helped me with my decision to buy a DS and the R4. Very happy with the purchase, it'll keep me supplied with amazing games for a while. Rep for you!

    I just bought one of these, one question, my laptop has SD reader, I read that the springs on R4s (as mentioned in this thread) easily breaks and such.

    So can I just put in my Micro-SD card in the R4 and put that in my laptop's SD card reader to put stuff in it? Will the laptop recognize the R4 as a normal SD card, or do I have to use an adapter to put stuff on the Micro SD card, only putting it in the R4 when I want to play it on my DS?

    The R4 is an NDS cartriage and only the NDS can read it. As I said in that post a simple piece of scotch tape can hold down the microSD card so it doesn't jump out of it if it comes down to that. As long as you are gentle with it you shouldn't have any problems.
